Kharkiv tourism: sightseeing tours in 3D and floating stage

To make Kharkiv more attractive for tourists, officials sought fresh ideas to the citizens. The last difference creativity: the tourists are offered to lure the city's 3D glasses, voices from the past and a concert venue on the water.

The competition organized by the departments of international cooperation, sports image projects of the city Council and the creative team Kailas-V, collected two dozen proposals that could bring to life. The best recognized project of the student of University of urban economy in Grebenets Catherine and her teacher Natalia Bibik. Kharkov women offers to run the website on which tourists will not find the tour guides and locals, ready to show Kharkov "from the inside".

"We propose to acquaint visitors with the city as it is seen by the residents themselves, with the stories that they love him. We have a lot of interesting places that don't lead tours, but the locals love them very much. For example, the yard Mitasova (city madman, ipesasilo walls of his house with strange inscriptions. — Ed.) or places where you can see the city from height of bird's flight", — says Ekaterina.

GIFTS.
The owner of the gift shop and folk art Tatyana Lagunova sure: to Kharkov is not enough legends, but if they are, then very unpopular. "For example, in the Irish village of Blarney tourists give lots of money to get to the castle, kiss the stone and gain the gift of eloquence. And in Kharkiv there are very few places," explained Tatiana. She offers decorate the city with monuments based on the famous play Grigory Kvitka-Osnovyanenko "Matchmaking in Honcharivka", the events that took place in Kharkov, and to beat them in the legends.

In addition, creativity also advises to pay attention to the souvenir, as tourists are often asked something truly Kharkiv. In the example, the entrepreneur leads the white on white embroidery and cozy — unique handmade carpets with long pile, glorified Kharkov in the end of XVIII — the middle of XIX century.

CONCERTS ON THE RAFT.
The Manager of the travel Agency Alina Pilipenko offers to complement the traditional tour of 3D technology. "Visitors to the ancient buildings of the city can be handing out 3D glasses and recreate the atmosphere of the past using video, sound effects and even smells. For example, to enable the recording of voices of famous people who have been in these buildings," explained Alina. She conceived, to carry tourists in the past can and a special mobile application that will show what was the particular Kharkiv house a hundred or two hundred years ago.

Retired engineer Stanislav Schwarz proposes to install on city river floating on a raft stage for musical performances and theatres and discover the modern military-industrial Museum. Under the exhibits dedicated to the engineering achievements of Kharkiv, it is possible to equip the body of former industrial giants, and to provide visitors the opportunity to touch their hands.
