Why IKEA considers the Ukrainian market to be promising and increases its assortment

For a year and a half in Ukraine, the Swedish IKEA corporation has expanded its assortment by one and a half times and is working to meet the demand of Ukrainians for creative space planning solutions.

As noted in an interview by I. O. Olga Ilchishina, deputy manager of IKEA in Ukraine, the results of the company in Ukraine show that there is a great need for creative solutions for storing things due to the limited living space.

IKEA noticed how rapidly the Ukrainian real estate market is developing, new residential complexes are appearing, as well as the fact that many Ukrainians continue to live in old houses, in particular, cramped Khrushchev houses.

“Our goal is to be accessible to many people, which is why IKEA is creating new formats to be accessible, comfortable for customers, and environmentally friendly today and in the future. We are most focused on offering online services and developing a multi-channel environment with new sales channels, as well as formats in line with new consumer behavior and trends. At the same time, we believe that everything should be done step by step, ”and explained. O. Deputy Manager of IKEA.
