Key events will be held at St. Sophia and Mykhailivska squares and Vladimirsky passage. This year an extensive programme for the new year holidays will offer Expocentre of Ukraine (ENEA). Moreover, the opening of which will take place tomorrow, December 10. It will be interesting to see the residence of Santa (entry ticket — 200 UAH), where it will welcome guests until mid-January. KAMIANETS-PODILSKYI

Another Nativity scene will be located in the Old town. 13 Jan on the Polish market festival "Podolsky Malanka".

LIONS

Most festive events will be held in the Central districts of the city and the Museum of folk architecture and life "Shevchenko Gai" (street Chernecha mountain, 1).

From 10 December to 20 January in Lviv will host a Christmas fair. Trading rows will consist of two hundred decorated with lights wooden houses. Fair territory is divided into sectors: food (traditional Christmas food and drinks of European and Galician cuisine) and the food. At the city Christmas tree will be held master classes. On January 7-9, planned a holiday Lviv Christmas donuts — "the Holy doughnut" at the Museum of folk architecture and life "Shevchenko's grove". Visitors will be able to learn how to make Christmas charms out of straw, to visit master classes on making candles and pottery. Decoration of the Museum will be the biggest symbol of Christmas in Lviv — a four-metre Christmas star and the installation of "Angel carols". During the festival will be held contests for the best Nativity scene, best mistress, my dear angel and the bad devil. Admission: adults — 25 UAH, child — 10 UAH.

8 of January in the Market square to the Fairgrounds near the Opera house will be a parade of "zvesda" (astrologers). And on 18 and 19 January on the territory of the Christmas fair will be held conclus ice sculptures.

ODESSA 

24 Dec will be opening art-Christmas tree on the promenade. From 24 December to 8 January here, in a large marquee near the monument to Duke will be held traditional Exhibition of gingerbread houses. On the table will accommodate a gingerbread village, and not only with houses but also with elements of the landscape: rivers, lakes, etc. One of the important features of the exhibition — houses are made not only professionals, but everyone! 31 Dec at 21:00 starts the concert and the celebration of the New year on Dumskaya square. And 2 January you can warm up with mulled wine at the festival dedicated to this drink. It will be held on Deribasovskaya street. Well, January 8, residents of Odessa and guests are invited to a Christmas festival (Dumskaya square).

CHERNIVTSI

New year and Christmas celebration in the capital of Bukovina will be held from December 19 to January 20. The main Christmas tree of Chernivtsi will open on 19 December at the Cathedral square. Also there will be established a Christmas "the crib" — crib. However for guests the most interesting event of the Christmas time in Chernivtsi is the festival of the local carnivals (Malanka-fest), which will be held on January 15.
