Ukraine expands its presence at ITB.

The size of the Ukrainian stand at the upcoming international tourism fair ITB, which will be held from 9 to 13 March in Berlin, will be 60 square metres, which will accommodate 16 participants, including representatives of the three regions (Kyiv, Lviv, Odessa), travel agencies, hotels and carriers. This was stated by the head of Department of tourism and resorts of Ministry of economic development and trade Ivan Liptuga. It should be noted that in comparison with last year's exhibition is notable progress – then the Ukrainian exposition was three times less. Although the figures from five years ago, when booth area reached 400 square meters, and mere agencies were around 20, while we can only dream of. The location of the Ukrainian stand, according to Mr. Liptuga, remained the same. "It is a busy place – located near the stand of the U.S. delegation, and a transit zone for the passage in the adjacent pavilion by the Ukrainian booth will not pass", – said the head of the Kiev office of "Albatros travel" Dmitry tantsyura.

However, not all the companies have already decided whether to participate in the exhibition, or at least visit her in the rank of the guests. "With old partners we communicate, and new this year the exhibition will probably not find" – said on condition of anonymity, the Director of one of the tour operators specialized in receiving foreign tourists. Its role, according to both sides, play and cost considerations: the cost of one exhibition space in the region of 2 500 € and the inevitable costs of flights and accommodation that results in noticeable expenses for the budget.
