MAU intends to introduce a tariff without Luggage.

"Ukraine international airlines" has introduced on its website a new rate "only hand Luggage", which replaced the tariff "promo". Also mention new rate is updated in the conditions of carriage and baggage. According to the system of UIA, for free, passengers can take on Board only hand Luggage weighing up to 7 kg. the Return of such tickets is impossible, the exchange - only with a penalty.

At the moment, the purchase of tickets at the new fare, including hand baggage only is not yet available, as all speakers so far is that he "sold".

MAU was previously said about the possibility of entering tariff without Luggage. However, it is necessary to exclude the rule from the existing rules of air travel, which obliges Ukrainian airlines to carry at least 15 kg of baggage on the weight concept, or one suitcase up to 23 kg on piece concept for free. Because of this, Wizz Air Ukraine until the cessation of their activities was allowed to take the Luggage without extra cost one bag.

Journalists appealed to MAU for clarification, when do you plan start selling fares with no Luggage and how the airline intends to circumvent the provision on the mandatory carriage of Luggage under the legislation.

In the case that the new tariff will be introduced, the concept of MAU will actually duplicate the concept of Latvian carrier airBaltic, which operates on a hybrid model. Recall that in 2014 Moscow will not provide free meals on Board in economy class on most of their flights.
